Wilton Road Roundabout
Flyovers are being built over the roundabouts in Wilton and Bishopstown in Cork right now and I’ve been meaning to photograph both building sites before construction was completed. I never imagined I’d be able to shoot the Wilton construction site from a plane!
Flying back to Cork
On the way home from Quebec I flew to Heathrow first, before hopping back home via Aer Lingus to Cork. I’m pretty sure this was over the UK somewhere, but really, it could just as easily have been the south coast of Ireland too.
Heron Landing
Heron coming in to land on the Lough, Cork. I’d love to have a big huge high quality zoom lens.
Lone plane over Windsor
If you live anywhere north of London it seems you’re in the flight path of one airport or another. Windsor, despite having a great big castle, is no exception and a number of flights flew over in the few hours we spent in the town.
Ryanair’s bumpy landing
Will Ryanair face a bumpy landing this year? Shots taken at Cork Airport of a Ryanair flight coming in to land. There are two small cottages just down the road from where I stood with children playing in the garden of one. I guess you get used to the engine whine after a while.
