The smooth uniform texture of a cup contrasted with the rough and weathered stones of a wall on Cape Clear Island. Somewhere near where I took the previous shot I saw this cup at the side of the road and was struck by the oddness of it’s placement.

Charity Daffodils Here are the daffodils my wife picked up when she gave a nice crisp €50 note to the Irish Cancer Society collector in Blarney this afternoon. A few days ago I offered to give the proceeds from the sale of a photo to charity plus €50 of my own money/. Nobody splashed out…
