I was there too
Back in October 2017, storms blew several trees down on to the Waterloo Road. Within a few hours work crews had started work on clearing the area. Oddly enough they waited to do the major work until Eoghan Murphy, a minister in the government, arrived to observe.
It was enlightening to see them start working on the wood chipper and start up their machinery when they received news that Mr Murphy was nearby. I guess that’s how politics works. They have to be “seen” to be doing something.

In what seems like a lifetime ago we visited Wales, exploring some of the towns and countryside near St. David’s, Newport and elsewhere.
