Construction of the Camden Quay Hotel

Construction work on a building site in Cork City. A tall yellow crane is visible under a sky half full of clouds. Tiny figures of men can be seen on the building site working on laying down steel supports.

The old site of the hotel on Camden Quay is being redeveloped. It’s gone through many phases over the years, and it’s soon to be a 3 star hotel.

View on Camden Quay

Camden Quay in Cork City with the north side of the City behind it. St. Anne’s (or Shandon Bells) and the Catholic North Cathedral in the background.

Loved the light when I saw this scene. The setting sun cast shadows on the buildings and reflected off the church steeples.
