There’s something to be said for enjoying life while you can and enjoying a cup of tea. On a nice June day in 2021, late in the afternoon, this man was relaxing in the shade of his truck. No more sales for today.

Caught motionless in time, a young man is forever riding his motorbike on a city street at night.

I was out walking in Valencia and spotted a cyclist headed in my direction at speed. That’s not so uncommon, but he was cycling really fast through the area. He caught my attention, I photographed him. High ISO FTW!

“Well, it is in here somewhere. I’ll find it eventually.””Oh sure, you forgot it, didn’t you?””Give her a chance. It probably fell between the seats.””OK, GOT IT!”

Argh, the bats! The bats! Well, they’re very realistic, aren’t they? Spotted in a Bubble Tea shop in Dublin last year around this time of year.

In contrast to the photo yesterday of the same bench in 2015 when a mural appeared on the wall, this photo from July 2019 features a blank wall. An elderly man, with his walker sits on the same bench. I hope he made it through the COVID pandemic.

I was waiting for someone to come out of a shop, so I did some street photography while I was in London. I found a chauffeur standing in front of his Rolls Royce car, waiting, too. I wonder who owns the car?

At the height (one of them, anyway) of the COVID19 pandemic in July 2020, someone takes a break on the street. He still wears his mask, despite being outside and nowhere near anyone. Numbers of COVID19 infections are rising again, unfortunately. Schools are back after the summer. It’s so depressing.

Grass is blown, and clouds are whisked through the air by winds that blow on to the beach at Long Strand, Co Cork.

A fridge is removed from a corner shop on St. Patrick’s Street, Cork. The shop itself is now empty, but I’m sure it won’t be long until a phone shop or vape shop opens there.

The squares of a chessboard become a blur as the camera is flung sideways as the shutter opens. It’s the chessboard in Crosshaven, not that you’d recognise it from the photo!
