Hey! What’s that?

I have no idea what was so interesting. On a bench in Bishop Lucey Park in 2019.

The late Frank Flaherty

Frank Flaherty, the Cork Birdman, who passed away earlier this month, pictured sitting on the wall of The Outdoor Adventure Store in 2021. His dog sits underneath, waiting patiently.

Careful on a bike

Weaving in and out between people walking along a pedestrianised street in Malaga, this delivery guy made good pace, without upsetting many people, thankfully.

Steam from the Brewery

Steam rising from the Heineken brewery in Blackpool is a common enough sight, with the accompanying smell familiar to anyone who lives near a brewery.

Pigeons take flight

I heard him say, "sorry", when his dog barked and scared all the pigeons, but he did me a favour. The pigeons in Bishop Lucey Park weren't doing much!

Phone or dog?

Sometimes when out with your dog, they're second in line for your attention after your phone.

A walk by the office

Walking between the Fire Station and City Hall in Cork, a shortcut from Anglesea Street to the nearby car park.

A bride in Santa Barbara

In and around the Court House in Santa Barbara, there were a number of wedding groups having their photos taken. This is one recently married couple I spotted in the corridor outside the main Court House. A lovely setting for photos. I wonder if that couple in the background knew them, or were they just...

A tourist stares

The tram trundles past and people stare at it, unaware I have captured the moment. Lisbon, November 2023.

Pigeons find a home

Pigeons resting on the "Home energy upgrade office" in front of Bishop Lucey Park in Cork.

Listen to the radio

A man sits at one of the tables outside Gino's Gelato listening to the radio. It was a cold day, and he was dressed for the weather, as were the people nearby. That ice-cream shop was still selling delicious treats to customers!

Parisian Tourists

Tourists flock on to the road near the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Admittedly, I was one of them, but I was just walking across the road at the pedestrian lights.
