Spanish Gentleman

A man dressed in a suit is an unusual sight when all around him are dressed casually.

Running from the shop

Walking along Henry Street in Dublin a few weeks ago, and I saw these two lads coming out of a shop in a hurry. I wouldn't even have posted these, except the second guy seems to be quite a character!

Staff on Break

A member of staff in Vero Moda outside the shop, taking a break.

Jagged Shadows

A striking pattern formed by the tiles on a roof in Madrid, Spain.

The Northside Water Tower

The "futuristic" water tower that sits on Kilmore Road Lower in Knocknaheeny is seen from Bell's Field in this photo taken in July this year. It was completed in 1972 and Councillor Gerald Yael Goldberg (1912-2003) described the water tower as 'futuristic' but predicted that it would 'fit into the landscape'. I'm not so sure....

On the way home

Heading home, late at night to the train station in Dublin on November 1st.

From North Side to County

A sight well known to anyone who lives in Cork City. The Spire of St. Anne's Church, or Shandon Bells stands like a beacon. The Cathedral of St Mary and St Anne is just off shot to the right, out of this shot. The County Hall can be seen far off in the distance out...

Susan Ann Sulley of The Human League

Way back in 2012, The Human League played in Cork. Here's a photo of singer, Susan Ann Sulley that night. Phil Oakey is to her right but I decided she should have the attention in this photo!

Ina at the Club

The beautiful Ina, a local model who has posed for Blarney Photography Club many times over the years. This photo is from 2018!

The Hills of Killarney

In between heavy showers, the far away hills visible from Killarney National Park are lovely shades of grey.

Silhouettes of the Walkers

Walkers in Killarney National Park a week ago when I was there trying to photograph the stags. A huge group of people out on a Saturday morning when a storm passed overhead and thunder and lightning filled the air. A few of us from Blarney Photography Club braved the elements for our photography!

Shandon Bells and County Hall

The clocks of Shandon Bells, or the Four Faced Liar (because the clocks rarely agree on the time), and the County Hall far off in the distance.
