The groynes on Youghal Beach reach out of a misty sea in this long exposure shot under overcast skies today. Capel Island can be seen in the background. It’s November but it’s so mild. Lovely day for a walk on the beach!

Sand that goes on for miles and miles so it’s easy to find a spot for your towel. Lovely beach and the water is warm!

If you go down to Wine Strand on the Dingle Peninsula but go straight ahead instead of turning right you’ll come across another beach. Lovely to walk on but I heard that it can be dangerous to swim there because of the local currents.

Can’t go to Dingle without going to Coumeenole Beach. Haven’t ever swam there but it’s a lovely spot.

People in Ireland are discouraged from travelling abroad right now due to the pandemic but luckily the weather is, or was glorious last weekend so everyone who could went to the beach. Lots of cars on the road but there was plenty of room on Garylucas Beach for everyone to be safely distanced from each…

Achill Island is a beautiful island off the coast of Mayo. There’s a bridge connecting the island to the mainland making it easier to get there which is great because it’s a wonderful place to visit. This is Dugort Beach in the north of the island.
