Herre’s the plane
From the Lee Fields, in August this year. A construction crane working on the student accommodation with an aeroplane that took off from Cork Airport high above it and rising fast, off somewhere, hopefully warm. TIL I’ve been spelling aeroplane wrong for years.
Flying over Chicago
At an air show in Chicago, August 2003.
Wave! Wave!
Tourists waving to an incoming flight on Lanzarote.
Landing in Lanzarote
Lanzarote Airport sits right by the coast. There’s a beach at one end of the runway where you can get great photos of the landing planes. I wonder what the pilots think of the onlookers watching at this dangerous stage of a flight?
Flying To Lanzarote
Just outside the airport, Lanzarote, Spain. January 2018.
A Plane Suspended in the Air
It’s quite amazing to see this plane hanging over the beach in Lanzarote. Looks utterly realistic.
Landing at Lanzarote
A Thomas Cook flight landing at the airport in Lanzarote.
Selfie with a Plane
A plane landing at Lanzarote Airport proved to be a good background for a selfie.
Take off from Quebec Airport
Quebec Airport has all you might need: free wifi, free power at some seats and even a children’s toy area for the kids to play in! Nice sunset too! 🙂
NOA NOA
NOA NOA, on Oliver Plunkett Street, Cork as a plane flies overhead.
Lone plane over Windsor
If you live anywhere north of London it seems you’re in the flight path of one airport or another. Windsor, despite having a great big castle, is no exception and a number of flights flew over in the few hours we spent in the town.
Ryanair’s bumpy landing
Will Ryanair face a bumpy landing this year? Shots taken at Cork Airport of a Ryanair flight coming in to land. There are two small cottages just down the road from where I stood with children playing in the garden of one. I guess you get used to the engine whine after a while.
