Ballycanneen Sunset
I was late getting to Dooneen Pier this particular evening so I pulled over and took photos from where I stopped. A couple of nice photos came from this evening. They’ll appear here over the next few months. 🙂 HDR image was made in Affinity Photo. It did a much better job than Lightroom. I…
Around And Around We Go
The Spin City Funfair visits Dingle during the summer months and features the “Star Flyer” where participants are raised about 40m into the air before twirling them around and and around. No way will you get me on something like that! I’ll happily take photos of it though.
The empty restaurant
An empty restaurant in Puerto Calero, Lanzarote.
Watched the sun go down
Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote.
On the beach at Puerto del Carmen
January 2020 on a beach in Lanzarote seems like an age ago. No masks, no COVID19.
Looking Up and Up
My first outing with Blarney Photography Club since March 2020 and it was a very pleasant walk along the bird sanctuary in Blarney.
After The Sunset
Looking towards the Beara Peninsula from Sheep’s Head moments after this sunset photo. The sun had set behind the hills but it still lit up the sky for some time at this time of year.
Tree After Sunset
This tree is the one remaining part of the old field left on the site of the “new” estate of Cluain Ard in Blarney.
Sunset over the Beara Peninsula
The sun sets over the Beara Peninsula last weekend. Pictured from Sheep’s Head, about 2km from the tip of the peninsula. Got there just in time to see this!
Light Breaks Through
The setting sun hidden by clouds. In the middle of December last year there was a strong cold wind blowing off the sea making it almost impossible to stand up and take photos!
Sliabh Liag Cliffs
Sliabh Liag, or Slieve League as it’s known to most. The English name is a phonetic translation of the Irish name if you’re wondering. Absolutely beautiful location in Co. Donegal that will take your breath away. Both with the scenery and the walk up if you’re not fit and healthy. 🙂
Blue Skies and Autumn Colours
Just one of the many trees we saw and lovely blue skies around Quebec at the 2009 Automattic Grand Meetup.
