I was having a coffee and scone at the café in the Cornmarket Centre when I spotted the circles on the roof. Apparently they are acoustic baffles to absorb sound waves and echoes. I guess it is quite a large enclosed area..

A young antelope stands in water at Bioparc Valencia, Spain. The animal in the photo is a sitatunga, a type of antelope known for its semiaquatic lifestyle. Its splayed hooves help it walk easily through marshy and swampy habitats.

I spotted this scene a couple of years ago while out with my photography club. It was all stripes: stripes on his polo shirt, and stripes on the shuttered shop behind him.

What caught my eye initially was the two older gentlemen in the foreground, but I love that the riders of the bike are wearing similarly coloured clothes. Dark and bright, both.
