Long shadows and door numbers.
STOP in Motion
Just a little fun with a snapshot of a STOP sign near Blarney.
Loving the surf
Happy to be up on the board at Garrettstown Beach last month.
Sunrise over Blarney
The sun rises over the houses of Blarney early one morning at the end of March, 2022.
Through the Penneys Tunnel
As you walk down Robert Street, to the side of Penneys on St. Patrick’s Street, Cork, you’ll find yourself walking under a part of the store that extends over the street.
Shadows on Nano Nagle Bridge
Shadows lengthen on Nano Nagle Bridge this afternoon. First time out with Rebel Street Photography, even if it was just two of us after a two year break. It was a lovely day for a walk around town. The sun shone from a blue sky, but in the shadows it was still cool. Catching up…
The Solitary Cat
The cat just sat there observing the world pass by. All relaxed, like.
The buildings of Cove Street
Parallel to Sullivan’s Quay in Cork, Cove Street is probably less well known than the quays but if you’ve driven around there looking for parking you know it well!
Shandon Bells on the North Side
The tower of St. Anne’s Church rises above the north side of Cork City with the Eir building and their own tower next to it.
Catching the sun at the beach
A boy catches the sun at the beach with his fishing rod. It was all he caught that evening, but I think he made some happy memories.
Blackbird in the bushes
A very busy blackbird stopped still for 5 seconds so I could catch a photo of it. He was digging around, throwing up leaves and hunting around between branches. Building material for a nest perhaps?
Robin Calling
A robin calling out in the grounds of Blarney Castle today.
