The Curve and a Tree
Walking back to the main building of Quinta da Roêda in the Douro Valley, Portugal in 2019. This tree was probably the tallest in the immediate area.
The Sunset Tree
If you’ve ever been to Kinsale and looked across the water at the houses on the waterfront this tree sits in the garden in front of one. I stood just outside their driveway and caught a lovely sunset behind it one lovely July day 2019. Yes, there is a bird in the photo too.

Frank Flaherty, Cork’s Birdman
Frank Flaherty is pictured above feeding pigeons on Daunt Square in 2019. He was recently approached by a litter warden who told him to stop feeding the birds because local businesses complained of excessive bird poo and feathers in the area.

From Dunquin to The Blasket Islands

The Cahersiveen Viaduct
Cahersiveen Railway Station was opened in 1893 and operated until 1960 and this viaduct across the local river still stands to this day.
