Storm Clouds over West Cork
We went for a walk with my aunt one cold December evening in West Cork, doing a loop around the local area with our dog. The sun had dipped below the clouds, but it was still showing a bit of colour in the distance. A very lonely, quiet area, apart from our busy family walking…
Look before you leap
The famous diving area in Salthill, Galway, in 2011. This may have been the last time I was in Salthill. We drove through the city in 2018 on the way to Connemara, but I think it’s overdue a visit.
Fog descends on Roche’s Point Lighthouse
Fog flowed in from the sea on a warm day in March, 2011. It almost covered the lighthouse, and it will do so a few minutes later.

The Golden Fields of Ballycotton
At certain times of the year the Ballycotton cliff walk allows you to walk next to rich golden fields under blue skies. Not at this time of year obviously. This was in July 2011!
