Chetwynd Viaduct From the Air
I always the this bridge as “The Viaduct”, but it’s actually named the Chetwynd Viaduct. Here’s the view from a my flight home a few weeks as it came in to land at Cork Airport.

I’m Still Standing
It’s wonderful how some of the old buildings in Cork are preserved while all around them their neighbours are demolished and shiny new edifices rise. This one is of course on Emmett Place.

Bubbling Water
Water flows down to the beach at Fountainstown, bubbling as it goes over rocks and seaweed.

The easy way up to the Montmorency Falls is by cable car direct from the visitor center. We took the steps. Legs. Sore. (Great coming down though!)

You may be aware of the diminishing population of wildlife in the Lough over the past few months. I am part of a voluntary organisation called JCI Cork (junior chamber international) and as a group we have decided to fundraise for the Lough by holding a table quiz in the Hawthorn Bar near the Lough. Cross in the Roof

Look up at the roof
The ceiling of the Sanctuaire de Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré in Quebec is quite a sight. In a low light situation you can’t get a more stable support than the floor at your feet, lucky me.
A wide angle lens meant I had to run for cover lest the camera capture me in the image. The 2 second timer was very convenient for this purpose.
