A march through Cork City was organised today in support of repealing the 8th amendment of the Irish Constitution. The weather was glorious and a large crowd gathered to hear several speakers talk before marching around the city.

  • The Historic Blarney Village

On Saturday last a new map was launched celebrating the heritage and history of Blarney in Co. Cork. A number of free events were put on during the day and a modest crowd showed up for what turned out to be a very entertaining hour walking around the square in the village. Here’s a few photos. If you missed it, you really missed out.

The Church of the Ascension is seen at the top of the photo, with its distinctive red cross glowing in the dark. Point lights make star shapes in the photo.
