The side gate to SS Peter and Paul’s Church in Cork City remains open during the day.
CELTIC FIShER
The Celtic Fisher, out of Tralee, was docked in Dingle Harbour in early November.
Dolphin Ferry!
If you want to see Fungie the Dingle Dolphin, you’ll have to queue up for the boat to bring you out into Dingle Bay!
Light and cloud on the Atlantic
Clouds over the Atlantic off Slea Head play with the light beams hitting the water.
St Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney
St Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney in the background. We walked around the town a few weeks back but I didn’t have time to get down to the Cathedral this time. Still impressive, even from this distance. I wonder if “Tim O’Brien & Sons Furniture Carpets” is online anywhere?
Just Google It!
Einstein says you should use a search engine! Shot in Killarney, County Kerry.
Abandoned Dingle Trawler
Right on the pier in Dingle are two trawlers that are slowly falling to pieces. The one pictured above is severely burned, windows burned out and broken. Moss grows on the deck amid the rubbish. I can’t believe it’s still there. It was there last year when we visited, and may even have been there…
Bike Park
The bike park on Patrick’s Street, Cork.
Director’s Cut
First of all Virgin Megastore was sold off to Zavvi and shortly afterwards they had a liquidation sale and went under. Now Director’s Cut are in there and it’s a depressing store. There’s no piped music to liven the dead atmosphere, oh dear!
Pub of the year for sale
The Woodford on Patrick’s Street Cork closed some time ago. Shame really as it was a nice pub.
Old Wood and Yellow
The gorgeous Autumn colours contrast with the dark and rough texture of the old wood of a fence. Shot in Quebec of course.
Fire Hydrant #2
I shot this while showing Lloyd the A-DEP feature of his camera. Just down the road from our main meeting house.
