La Scala

La Scala in Crosshaven is an arcade that’s been in the town for years. It probably hasn’t been called that name all that time, or owned by the same people all that time but I always remember there being an arcade there. Not sure if I’ve ever been in there though. Maybe a long time ago! The Doneraile Photowalk is on next Sunday at 3pm. Everyone’s welcome! If you’re wondering about where to meet up, or worried that you’ll be late, leave a comment here and I’ll email you my phone number. The park is quite big and it would probably be quite easy to wander around without meeting anyone… Read More

Your future: wear a beard

Important decisions in life. What job will I do in the future and should I wear a beard? I’ve got the job bit covered, but would I look better with a beard? I think there’d be trouble if I tried growing one! 🙂 The wearbeard sticker really caught my eye. It’s just weird to create a site about that but it takes all sorts I guess. Fred Fans Go Wild!

Two enthusiastic fans of Cork band, Fred, when they played at the May Day celebrations in Cork back in 2005. I loved their first album, but the second one was just more of the same. Great to hear and watch live though! Aperture ƒ/4 Camera CYBERSHOT Focal length 17mm ISO 100 Shutter speed 1/250s

Fancy ass public transport

OK, so it’s not quite a bus, but it’s a stretch limo. I saw it again today cruising up and down Patrick’s Street with the rear window open a crack. I’d hate to see that try to navigate a tight bend! Aperture ƒ/5 Camera Canon EOS 20D Focal length 12mm ISO 400 Shutter speed 1/250s

It’s not polite to shove 90+ images down the throats of subscribers IMO! You’ll have to view the actual post to see the thumbnails. Out of these images, I think there’s maybe 2 or 3 that I’ll work on and post later. Hopefully this gallery may provide… Read More

Big smile for the Parade!

Big smile for the Parade! I think it’s safe to say this was the biggest smile of St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2008 for me. Nobody in the crowd was smiling anyway. They were all too squashed in or straining to see over the heads of those in front.

I can see the parade!

I can see the parade! Some people go to all lengths to watch the St. Patrick’s Day Parade as these kids show. Congrats to my friends John and Ann on the birth of their son Caelin yesterday. You’re lives are going to change *so much* but you’re going to have a great time with the little guy! PS. Just upgraded almost all my blogs to WP 2.5, please leave a comment if you notice anything odd!
