Traffic flies by the Sextant

Traffic speeds past the Sextant on Albert Quay in late October 2019. The building is gone now and missed by many Cork people. It was a familiar sight to me as it was on my route home growing up.

The river under the trees

The River Martin flows through the grounds of Blarney Castle under stone and wood bridges and of course under the canopy of overhanging trees. Blarney Castle today in glorious sunshine.

A Pink Cadillac in Blarney

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! The owner of this pink Cadillac took part in the Blarney parade in 2016!

No parade this year. The village was very quiet this evening when I went for a walk there.
