After The Sunset
Looking towards the Beara Peninsula from Sheep’s Head moments after this sunset photo. The sun had set behind the hills but it still lit up the sky for some time at this time of year.
Little Grotto at the Church
Water gurgles over the stones of this grotto at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Blarney. Makes a lovely sound as you walk past.
DO NOT DRIVE ON THE GRASS
Well, I won’t drive on the grass if you don’t.
Tree After Sunset
This tree is the one remaining part of the old field left on the site of the “new” estate of Cluain Ard in Blarney.
Sunset over the Beara Peninsula
The sun sets over the Beara Peninsula last weekend. Pictured from Sheep’s Head, about 2km from the tip of the peninsula. Got there just in time to see this!
Light Breaks Through
The setting sun hidden by clouds. In the middle of December last year there was a strong cold wind blowing off the sea making it almost impossible to stand up and take photos!
The Straight Road
Trees loom over a narrow country road. Thankfully it was a nice bright day and not spooky one bit!
Roadside Flowers
On a beautiful May evening on a road near Blarney.
Golden Spring Leaves
Golden leaves in the grounds of Blarney Woollen Mills last month.
Refugees Welcome
Hoarding on a small abandoned site opposite the Coliseum Leisureplex on Brian Boru Street.
