The River Martin flows through Blarney village and into the grounds of Blarney Castle. This photo was made moments before the sunlight trees one I posted a few days ago. Beautiful morning, and there’s one more photo to come! 🙂

We had thick white fog this morning in Blarney. At it’s worst I could probably see about twenty metres before everything became a white haze. Shot on my Galaxy S4 and developed in Lightroom.

Today was Family Fun Day in Blarney oraganised by Gaelscoil Mhuscrai. It threatened to rain several times but besides a few drops it stayed dry and everyone had fun! Just a few photos from the short but colourful and noisy St Patrick’s Day Parade in Blarney this year. This private road up to Blarney Castle was covered in snow, the trees were bare and every inch of grass wore the familiar white coat of a recent snow fall. Taken yesterday morning while the snow fell. It’s -3C here in Blarney this morning and feels even colder! Brrrrr
