High Street in Bantry, Co. Cork is one of the main streets in the town. It was a gorgeous day when I walked around there and shot this high contrast photo on one of it’s corners.

At Biosphere 2 in Arizona the land around the main building was sold to developers to fund the experiment and for maintenance. Unfortunately all the houses there looked very empty, but maybe that was because it was in January and in the off season.

No. 20, Bantry I walked around Bantry Town a bit snapping the local streets and this house appealed to me. I think I saw it in b/w and the lovely texture of the walls. It could also have been the hill and I wanted a small break from pushing the buggy around too of course.

Old farm building in ruins Out in the wilds of Co Cork, to the north of Bantry I found an old deserted farm. The house looked like it had been empty for some time and some of the out buildings were in worse repair. Don’t forget the photowalk on Sunday!

Girl on dad’s shoulders A small girl sits on (I presume) her dad’s shoulders on Patrick’s Street. In the background is the Savoy Shopping Center, and of course the building side behind Dunnes is clearly visible in the scaffolding supports to the far left.

Rooftop Surveillance The houses and roofs of the North Side, Cork City. This was taken from Carroll’s Quay carpark almost a month ago.
