Donncha, Robert, Tom and Maryam

From left to right, Donncha, Robert, Tom and Maryam

Robert Scoble and his wife Maryam are in Cork for an IT@Cork conference tomorrow. They visited Blarney this morning with Tom Raftery. I can confirm that Robert did kiss the Blarney Stone, but the pics I got aren’t good enough to publish unfortunately!
He has the “official” photo so I’m sure he’ll scan that in when he gets home!

Red Sky At Night

Red sky after a beautiful sunset in Garrettstown last Sunday.
The original high-res version is even better!

Arrggghhhh!

Young boy admiring the graffitti on a van.
The van was used to transport ramps and tools for the skateboarders in Emmett Square, Cork.

Chatting and Shopping

Two girls pictured on Patricks Street, October 1st 2005.
This is one of the US photos I forgot to post!
Minor US trivia: It was mislabeled in the US book as Sharing.

Us on the tower

Painted with the light of a torch on a round tower in a local church yard late at night. If you look carefully you can even see stars in the sky! This page has some information about that tower:

The round tower in Waterloo (approx. 1 mile from Blarney) … … was built in the 1800’s by Fr. Matt Horgan, the then parish priest of Blarney.
