Looking through the clouds
Irish countryside through the clouds.
Moderne Lighting
Light trails along Patrick’s Street in Cork.
Flying back to Cork
On the way home from Quebec I flew to Heathrow first, before hopping back home via Aer Lingus to Cork. I’m pretty sure this was over the UK somewhere, but really, it could just as easily have been the south coast of Ireland too.
Moonlit Arizona
The moon shines down on the Arizona desert, January 2008.
Watch out! Duck! I said, “duck!”
Geese at The Lough feeding on the ground near the water’s edge. Most have their heads down pecking at scraps but one stubbornly kept a look out ..
Heavenly Cakes
Some of the delicious cakes in Heavens Cakes in the English Market. Deeeellliicious!
Take off from Quebec Airport
Quebec Airport has all you might need: free wifi, free power at some seats and even a children’s toy area for the kids to play in! Nice sunset too! 🙂
Chetwynd Viaduct From the Air
I always the this bridge as “The Viaduct”, but it’s actually named the Chetwynd Viaduct. Here’s the view from a my flight home a few weeks as it came in to land at Cork Airport.
I’m Still Standing
It’s wonderful how some of the old buildings in Cork are preserved while all around them their neighbours are demolished and shiny new edifices rise. This one is of course on Emmett Place.
Bubbling Water
Water flows down to the beach at Fountainstown, bubbling as it goes over rocks and seaweed. PS. I’ve reduced the cost of all prints by about $50 to $80 for the largest size framed prints. Most of the cost goes towards manufacturing and my markup is only 20% on all prints. Check ’em out in…
Easy way up
The easy way up to the Montmorency Falls is by cable car direct from the visitor center. We took the steps. Legs. Sore. (Great coming down though!)
Red Red Rose
Red roses in my father-in-law’s garden, I think. This was shot way back in August but I’m fairly sure of the location.
