Yellow and Fenced In
A flower or weed? A weed is only a flower in the wrong place, or so I’ve heard. This was taken at Seaside in Florida during the Automattic meetup there in 2010. Beautiful beach there, horrible humidity in September! This will probably be my last post of the year here so happy new year and…

Black and White Metal
The metal of a school desk leg in my Dad’s garden. On a much nicer day than today, awful outside right now! Cold wind, wet. Glad I’m inside now!

One Eye Oscar!
Shih Tzu dogs need a lot of grooming and Oscar is no exception. This is him in the snow on Christmas Day last year. Good thing he had all that fur as it was freezing!
Ice Cream in Kinsale
A man enjoying his ice cream in Kinsale on a very sunny July day last year.
Hold Her Steady
A ship tied up at the quay in Kinsale, Co. Cork last year. The vessel was mostly deserted but we saw revellers boarding it regularly, walking around the deck and then off again!
Rizla
The wrapper of a Rizla rolling papers packet lies on the ground behind a pub in an East Cork town I can’t remember the name of right now. More on the Wikipedia page of course.
Bags of Fun
Bags of fun to be had at Pipers in Crosshaven, Co Cork.
A Cup among the the rocks
The smooth uniform texture of a cup contrasted with the rough and weathered stones of a wall on Cape Clear Island. Somewhere near where I took the previous shot I saw this cup at the side of the road and was struck by the oddness of it’s placement.
