Foggy Sunlight

Fog covers the village of Blarney at the merest hint of a calm chilly morning and today was no exception. These are the trees across the road from my son’s school.

The Golden Road

It’s a beautiful frosty morning so I couldn’t resist the urge to take a couple of shots of this driveway up to Blarney Castle. You may even recognise it from the WordPress theme Twenty Ten.

Coliseum Bowling

I haven’t bowled in the Coliseum, Cork in a long long time. I’m pretty sure the last time I bowled was in Wii bowling, perhaps at an Automattic meetup even! Nice way to spend an hour though.

What’s your highest score? I think mine’s somewhere around 240.

Gougane Barra Bell

A bell attached to the ruins on the small island at Gougane Barra in Co Cork. I have no idea what the 1025 on the bell means, anyone know?

Everyman Palace Seating

Some of the seats in the Everyman Palace, Cork. It’s been ages since I saw anything there but it’s a great venue.
PS. I hardly had to process this photo, not worth putting a before pic this time!

The Old Green Car

Not an old car but ye olde styled as was the fashion a couple of years ago. Stands out against more modern vehicles of course.

No Hotel

Moore’s Hotel on Morrison’s Quay, a former hotel that is now up for rent. I’d never been in there when it was a hotel but did meet an interesting man who worked there. The woo was strong in that one!

Edit: mouse over the image. Trying to do a before and after thing. Do you like it?

Just a beautiful evening in San Diego

I arrived in San Diego a few hours ago and the first thing I noticed when I got into my hotel room was the amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. This doesn’t do it justice as the foreground is a little too dark but I wanted to get it uploaded with minimum fuss so here ya go!

Waterloo Geocache

There’s a geocache close to where I live near the village of Waterloo. It’s hidden away next to a bridge but I have not been able to find it despite my best efforts.

Still, got a photo out of the walk there yesterday.
