I took this from across the river in August 2019, looking at Holy Trinity Church on Father Mathew Quay. The floodlights were on, and the water was still enough to reflect the whole spire. The river walls along this stretch have been built up since then as part of the flood works. In 2019 the quay wall was a low strip of stone, low enough that the row of parked cars looked as if they were lined up at the water’s edge.
