It was very hot in Óbidos, and this couple had settled against a low parapet with their dog stretched out on the paving beside them. I would have gone looking for shade. I only noticed later that the woman was wearing a denim jacket!
I love the negative space of ground, wall, and sky. The yellow border of the wall is such a nice feature. The whitewashed wall reflects the heat, and the yellow frames it.
