The Photographer and the Cliff
The cliff below the Baltimore Beacon drops a long way, and the only way to show that was to put a person at the top of the frame. Luckily, a fellow photographer was busy doing the same thing I was doing. I walked over afterwards and spoke to him and his wife. They are Swiss, over on holiday in a camper van. He had the tripod set up right on the edge with the camera low down to capture the heather and gorse flowering along the lip.
I never got his contact details, so if that is you, or you know a Swiss couple who were holidaying in Cork in September 2026, get in touch and I will send on a full-resolution copy.
