Anything but Guinness

So, today is Arthur’s Day, a celebration of 250 years of Guinness. Well, sorry, but I don’t like Guinness and this is obviously a cheap marketing ploy by a large multi-national to drive sales of a declining beverage. Seems to have worked.

Me? I may just open that bottle of Leffe. Yum.

    1. Unfortunately I didn’t get to drink anything last night, unless you count the milk in my late night bowl of cornflakes.

Maybe at the weekend, but probably not. I’m not much of a drinker!

      1. well you usen’t be a drinker at all! It all started to go downhill after that holiday in Spain and look at you now :p

  1. Last night was a cheap (but very good quality) ice cold polish pilsner occasion for me.

I suppose somebody is vicariously living out his Irishness through the odd pint of plain.
