  1. I’m going to look like such a nerd for saying this but by any chance do you know if this street featured in the Davina McCall TV show Streetmate? For some reason that one particular street has always stuck in my mind, and when I saw this photo it looked so familiar!

  2. Hehe. Unfortunately I don’t know that show, and I was going to say it’s unlikely but after reading http://ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/title/654817 it appears to be a dating show set in Bristol and Cork? It could have been the same street, but the street surface looked a lot different in 1999. It would have been plain stone flagging rather than the ornate center brick and multi-coloured slabs.

    I just checked Youtube too, nothing on there about the Cork and Bristol episode. 🙁
