A merry-go-round or whatever you call it kept the kids entertained in the Peace Park last night as Santa visited courtesy of 96FM.
Even the Lord Mayor of Cork turned up. He had no problems finding parking. I saw his car parked up on the broad new pavement outside the park. The “07 C 1″ number plate is very distinctive.

The crowd went mad cheering and shouting when filming of Stanley Super 800’s Gatecrashing video finally stopped.

You wouldn’t believe how many takes a music video takes but they were as vibrant and cheerful at the end as at the start! Amazing!

The old Christian Brother’s school on Sullivan’s Quay was put up for auction and sold recently. It’s in a prime city centre location but is also a very old building.

My brother attended there briefly when the Model School transferred from Anglesea St near the end of it’s life.
