Dunnes Stores in the centre of Cork City is being rebuilt as part of a major development. This is the first in a series of photos I’ll publish over the next few days.

This was taken very close to this photo shot about 10 months before!

    When I visited Cork about two years ago this construction site (at least I guess that it’s the same) didn’t look much different as you can see on this photo taken from the car park of Paul Street Shopping Center. Very interesting way to build…

    Thomas – such progress, not! I passed by there a few weeks after taking that shot and I think there are cement walls laid down now. I curious to see if it remains empty when opened though.

    I wish i could visit cork to watch these major construction sites, they seem to change the look of the city!
