The olive stall in the English Market, Cork is a well known part of this indoor market. There is always a queue of people waiting to bu some of their delicious produce.
If you like the olives you get in jars, try some fresh ones. You’ll be blown away by the flavour!

Their pickled gherkins are fantastic.. but only if you like em salty!
I love this stall — particularly the fact that you can “try before you buy” from the little sample trays. Magic!
I’ve seen this place on Rick Stein’s TV show. Really want to head down there again soon. I also love pickled gherkins.
That’s a beautiful photo! It activates the gustatory sense immeditately!
I blame this photo for my Saturday trip to the market.. Got a feast of gherkins and a slab of goats cheese. The opportunity to spend too much money in there is ever present
Maybe I should take photos of car dealerships, or housing estates with for sale signs..
Hope you enjoyed the gherkins and cheese Ryan? I might have to pop in there next time I’m in town!
Where is this market located?
