Lady at the lights

Sunday, October 8th, 2006 by Donncha

If looks could kill! I don’t know who she was looking at but she doesn’t look happy!

Pictured on the corner of Washington and a few days ago while we waited for the lights to change. Finn’s Corner, a sports clothes shop, has been on that corner for years and St. Augustine’s Catholic Church is visible just down the road. I’ve never been in that church despite it’s central location. It’s so well integrated into the scape that it’s easy to forget it’s there.

The problem is that are used to pressing a physical , something that sticks out and can be pushed in. The white dot is flush with the surface of the unit, and go to press the only thing that looks vaguelly -like, the . I still see do it, and yes, this is one of my pet peeves, thanks for reading!

lights and lighting vie for attention. This is across the road from where Bord Gais used to have their showroom. Bet you never realised the titanic struggle for recognition that was going on?
