22 September 2009 - The evolution of back pain
A small poster advertises a survey on back pain. It’s a 3 year programme and since this was taken in 2007 it’s nearing completion now!
Taken somewhere in San Francisco.
17 July 2009 - Emma
Emma, a small alley somewhere in San Francisco. Shot three years ago while on a photowalk around the city.
Only 9 places left for the photowalk tomorrow. I emailed everyone today. Did you get your email?
20 May 2009 - Cab 3181
San Francisco will be the gathering place for a large number of WordPress fans at the end of the month as they go to the 2009 San Francisco WordCamp. I won’t be there unfortunately but places are already in short supply, if not all sold out at this stage. It’s going to be a blast!
Here’s a shot I took in 2007 from outside our hotel near Union Square. Love the reflection of the building in the bonnet of the car and glad I got those tourists too!
9 February 2008 - Emergency! In an emergency such as a fire you want to be able to escape from a building quickly and be assured that there’s plenty of water to fight the flames. I presume these capped pipes have something to do with that purpose?
3 February 2008 - Niketown: Run on AirThe Nike Store, Niketown, on Union Square, San Francisco as seen in 2006.
2 February 2008 - The City of San FranciscoSan Francisco as seen from the hills surrounding the City. I took this back in August 2006.
Can you tell yet that I merged a few of my work directories after doing some house keeping work on my photo archive?
Thanks to Niall Kennedy for driving us up there!
6 January 2008 - I want real spam!Oh, delicious spam! How I love you so! I want to spread you on sandwiches and lick the knife clean! Oh Yum!
Or not. I’ve never tasted the edible variety of spam, but like everyone else online I’ve had my fair share of spam emails, comments and blogs.
This is the real spam, made by Hormel. I spotted it in a store in San Francisco and snapped a quick shot of the aisle. Unfortunately the light was bad but, if you’ve never come across it before, it’s a novelty worth posting, right?
Current spam stats:
1. Inphotos: 8510
2. Holy Shmoly!: 21689
3. Gmail: 2176
Spam is here to stay.
30 December 2007 - The hippiest busA strange multi-coloured bus waiting at the lights in downtown San Francisco last summer.
Yes, those are horns on the roof. Does anyone know anything about it? A search for “EFT 922″, it’s registration plate, turns up nothing useful.
21 December 2007 - Stolichnaya Russian VodkaA huge advertisement for Stolichnaya Russian Vodka on the side of a building near Union Square in San Francisco. It proudly stats, “Choose Authenticity”.
This is the sight that greeted me on my first night in the city!
18 December 2007 - Turquoise AcidA water main on the street in San Francisco while Automattic waited to go into a restaurant.
I think that’s Matt in the background, but it might have been Alex too.
