A neighbour’s gate is securely locked. As secure as a 3 foot high driveway gate will ever be I suppose.
2 June 2008 - Skyhawk
Skyhawk, a boat moored in Kinsale harbour. Moored there for quite some time by the looks of things. It’s aptly named. It seems the local bird population have taken a liking to it and made it a stopping off point.
I didn’t go to the Marathon today. Adam was up until 10.30pm last night bawling and crying after the exciting day he had at a bbq. Parents – next time someone tells you, “ah sure, he’ll grow out of it”, or “he needs to meet more people”, you should .. well, I can’t repeat what I feel you should do, but make sure they know that children don’t like changes to their routine, that when they’re over stimulated during the day, the parents suffer that night or the following day. Empathy, that’s what people want.

8 March 2008 - Learning the ropesRopes tie up small boats in Bantry, Co Cork. The tide is very far out and many boats are stranded in the mud.
I love the texture of rope. Yummy.
