9 January 2008 - Cork Harbour from Curabinny
This is the small quay at Currabinny across the water from Crosshaven in Cork Harbour.
As today was such an awful day with driving rain, sleet and ice I think a nice calm photo was in order. This was taken in April last year.
I’m travelling soon. I realised yesterday that I may not have my Sigma 10-20 lens to bring with me. Boo!
16 August 2007 - Oscar! Come here!
Imagine the scene. Out on a pier, I’m lying on the wooden beams over the low tide surf on the rocks below and I’m calling to my dog. Thankfully Oscar obliged and I made this photo as he walked towards me with his tongue half-hanging out of his mouth. There’s Jacinta in the background, she’s almost 9 months pregnant in this photo, but you probably can’t see the bump in this small image!
2 August 2007 - Absolutely crazy in Ireland
I spotted this sticker on the pier at Currabinny, Co. Cork. I have no idea what “Absolutely, Crazy – Cowes’05″ refers to and a quick bit of research didn’t show up anything.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
2 August 2007 - Sssh! my dog was nowhere near your private property!
My shih tzu Oscar can’t read. “Private property” signs mean nothing to him but thankfully nobody was around when he wandered into this large garden!
