I’ve already covered the chemtrails conspiracy but they’re such a frequent and visible part of the sky that I have to shoot them sometimes.

This was taken in Blarney, the trail is from a high flying plane going west to the USA.

Arrangements for the photowalk on the 26th are surging ahead. Pat got in touch to say we can shoot from the roof of the Montenotte Hotel where we meet. The speedboat is organised (max 4 passengers but I won’t be going, stomach is still feeling fragile!) and then a complementary lunch for all photowalkers in the Boardwalk Bar & Grill around noon. Should be the best photowalk yet!

A wall of the Beamish and Crawford Brewery blocks the sun in this shot taken on South Main Street, Cork.

Blue skies are great for sun worshippers but photographers don’t like them. It’s always better to have some cloud or interest in the sky. The fluffier and more solid the better, as long as some blue sky can be seen.

I noticed this cross in the sky while walking around Dublin a few weeks ago. When I saw a church I had to make this shot and I’m quite happy with the way it came out!
