24 July 2009 - The 8A Bus
A man gets on the 8A bus to Curraheen on Patrick Street, Cork last Saturday.
This was on the way to the photowalk, walking up the street with Chris to where Will had double parked because he was driving home again. Chris had dropped his camera in the car when he got out!
31 August 2008 - Red and White and Cork All Over
Young Cork supporters take the tour bus around the city a few weeks ago. Cork plays Kerry isn’t it today in a replay? Yes, I’m a big sports fan, honest.
10 May 2008 - Fancy ass public transport
OK, so it’s not quite a bus, but it’s a stretch limo. I saw it again today cruising up and down Patrick’s Street with the rear window open a crack. I’d hate to see that try to navigate a tight bend!
30 December 2007 - The hippiest busA strange multi-coloured bus waiting at the lights in downtown San Francisco last summer.
Yes, those are horns on the roof. Does anyone know anything about it? A search for “EFT 922″, it’s registration plate, turns up nothing useful.
10 December 2007 - Lost in thoughtTwo teenage girls on Patrick’s Street, Cork. One is lost in thought, while the other chats away.
Do you recognise the Special K poster in the background?
2 May 2007 - Cork City Tour BusThe Tour Bus just left without me! An open top bus brings tourists around the city, where to? I’m not sure, I’ve never taken it!
This was on Grand Parade about 9 months ago. The plastic dividers in the middle of the street are now gone and where that bus is driving is now pavement, with the odd road works still going on.
19 March 2007 - The eyes in the busA child looking out the back window of a bus.
Weird colours and look due to some experimenting with new plugins. Way overblown I know but I gotta have some fun sometimes!
22 February 2007 - Girl reflecting on busWaiting at the traffic lights, the camera can still see you, even if it’s not pointed in your direction. Those are the buildings of the Grand Parade in Cork behind her.
27 July 2006 - Hop On, Hop off the SpireThe infamous Dublin Spire with a tour bus in the foreground.
“The Dublin Spire is one hundred and twenty metres tall, making it by far the tallest structure in Dublin city centre. It is three metres wide at the base and tapers to a 15 centimetre wide beacon at the top. The top section is perforated and lit by small LEDs.”
