I like beach. I choose this picture because I think it can describe us about the people's journey in their lives. There are small, big, clear and unclear footsteps.

Your problem with your photo backup was part of your whole journey in your life. You have already solved your problem and continue your journey. You will keep on walking with your footsteps.

Dave - good point! I don't crop enough, but that's an obvious improvement. Kicking myself now for not seeing that!

A tiny nit-pick - having the left hill's horizon cropped by the edge of the frame throws it off a bit. Just a slightly looser cropping (or tighter to chop off the horizon on both sides would make it a better photo to my eye. (And yes, I do this a lot myself, so I might be a little over-sensitive to it, but I spent a 4-day workshop in October with the most consistent feedback being "don't crop so tightly.")

This is a totally nice photograph, I really like it. Somehow it remembers me to my last holidays.

And that's really good that all your photos are now backed up. Would be a mess if you lose all your photos.
