San Francisco Streets

September 13th, 2007 by Donncha

A races across across an almost empty junction in San Francisco.

I just love the sign on top of the building. Totally out of place amid the beautiful and detail of it’s resting place.

I think you found the best spot to take a picture of that building Donncha. The lines of the junction and the building shape are perfect together.

I like the way you’ve echo’d the rounded corner of the building using the white lines on the street. Nice composition.

I agree with Gareth, love the repetition of the lines and the symmetry. Clever shot.

Thanks for commenting. That may have been on my mind when I took the picture but I can’t remember. What I do recall is the lines on the road drew my attention and they seemed to point towards the advert on the top of the building!
