The questions you ask always help me think and focus. We had an interesting chat on your blog space in March about street photography. Finally I took my courage in my hands and uploaded some photos of people at the National Plowing Championships. It certainly brought my garden blog to life. To many, one photo of a tree is much the same as the next. Also I've started a little blog that tracks my efforts to understand the effects I make with filters and different films, which you might enjoy.
