Ah graffiti! That most visible of teenage expression on our streets and walls.
Anyway, I can’t remember where I took this. It could be one of the side streets off St. Patrick’s Street, but that’s about as vague as “somewhere in Cork” to be honest.
Typical Heineken banner flying in the background so there’s a pub around there.
This photo might be lost on foreign folks like myself. Is MEH a common slang term in Ireland?

No, it’s not Irish slang. I think it’s probably just the handle of the tagger who drew it!

“Meh” is quite common on the web, used for expressing disinterest or dissatisfaction, IIRC. As for the location, I’m pretty certain it’s Carey’s Lane on the Patrick St. side - years ago in the UCC photosoc I took a photo of someone standing underneath it for later photoshopping (I put the person’s silhouette in the sign). Hi, by the way.

Thanks Dermot - I had forgotten you left that comment! Funny how an insignificant location sticks in the mind?
