Haha, I filled a 4GB card too. Just before I left, a woman with her 2 kids pushed ahead of me. She apologised saying the kids were disappointed not seeing the parade. I wish them good luck getting to the front of the crowd but I don't think they managed it.

If I do go to the parade next year I'll bring a step ladder!

I'm delighted with my grasp of Irish having stopped studying it 21 years ago! I thought that the weather was reason enough to endure the crowds and the kids were able to take turns on my shoulders. The normal run of events is having someone's umbrella obscure your view while water from the offending umbrella drips down your neck and the lazy wind would rather go through you than around you.

My 4GB card rand out of space so I was furiously deleting individual shots manually..........obviously all by scouting training to 'Bí Ullamh' did not pay off!
