I actually only changed to using a thumbnail rather than full-size image about 2 weeks ago. Not quite sure why, I thought it looked better and have sometimes preferred seeing only thumbnails and I would often go to the page anyway if im going to comment. Ive been so busy lately and want to make so many changes to my site, but just don't have the time to think about it, let alone learn how to do it. It's truly a matter of choice on the author's part of whether to include full or partial feeds. For some artists it's very important that their work be shown in the context of their choosing and a partial rss feed is a nice compromise. The feed allows you to see when they've added new work but also allows the artist to show the work in the context she selected for it.
