The conditions of that competition allows the ESAI to use any of the images entered in any way they like: "ESAI reserves the right to use free of charge the images in any manner to promote ESAI" So, for the cost of a sponsored prize, the hire of a professional photographer to judge it and other minor costs they can build an instant library of environmental photos.
