Additionally, with a traditional monopod you would have to hold the thinnest diameter rod of the monopod whereas the Quik Pod has a comfortable 23mm diameter rubberized handle. It is lightweight (only 3.5 ounces) and retracts to pocket size. Just want to point out the differences between a monopod and the Quik Pod. The same could be done with a monopod, which would prove more useful on a day out. It's cheap I guess.
