Robert Scoble and his wife Maryam are in Cork for an IT@Cork conference tomorrow. They visited Blarney this morning with Tom Raftery. I can confirm that Robert did kiss the Blarney Stone, but the pics I got aren’t good enough to publish unfortunately!
He has the “official” photo so I’m sure he’ll scan that in when he gets home!

Everyone is in good health and the narrow steps of the castle failed to deter us from getting to the top! [...] -Showing up late turned out to be fortuitous with regard to seating as I managed to spend the night in conversation with Maryam, Claire and Frank. A rather exhausted Tom was there too, and obviously still smarting from my devastating assassination of his character yesterday, he accused me of leeching off of Donncha’s fame. What Tom doesn’t realise is that had I known that Donncha had any fame to leech off of I’d be opening one of his arteries right now and drinking my fill while typing this with the other hand.
