Cross in the sky
August 12th, 2006 by DonnchaI noticed this cross in the sky while walking around Dublin a few weeks ago. When I saw a church I had to make this shot and I’m quite happy with the way it came out!

I have found that the only times a cross like that appears is when something momentous is happening in my life, like the exact moment that we had an offer on our house, or when one of my companies was offered funding. Was something momentous happening in your life on the day or the moment that you saw that cross? Just curious.

I saw a cross in the sky once. We live by the river and I looked out through my kitchen window like I have a million times before and I saw a cross. It was perfect in every way, but it was so weird because light was shining up from the river. The sun is higher and not below it and the cross was a brilliant pink and exactly in the centre was a black cross perfect in everyway too. This happened Feb 29th 2004 around 4 something pm. I screamed for my family to see this and they ran upstairs and every single one of them saw it. 4 boys and my husband. It disintergrated after about 3 minutes. I called other friends who live by the river if they saw it but nobody I know did. Nothing was in the newspaper. I will never forget that. Also a few years before for about 2 weeks a perfectly shaped shadowed rose appeared on my son’s bedroom wall. Never saw anything like that before either. Never came back either. It really was beautiful, it had two leaves and a stem complete with thorns. I told my son God must love you so much to send this to you. My son doesn’t even beleive in God. Weird things happen to me.
